"The leaves are falling like they're falling in love with the ground" -Andrea Gibson
The quote, while new to me until I found it through google, felt like an interesting quote to illustrate. I decided to illustrate the quote literally, similar to how it talks literally about the leaves falling. Because the word 'falling' was the main word in this quote, I tried to show it as such, making their font contrasting with the other words. I noted that the sentence can be separated into two individual sentences, so I tried to incorporate the second of the sentence as part of the trunk and ground, while having the prior section as the leaves. The main things I focused on in the drawing was trying to incorporate and fit the letters into the simple background elements with varying degrees of success.
